Phi Alpha Theta Initiation

Prof. Guridy will give a lecture entitled "Why Cuba?" He will discuss the importance of Cuba and its long history of interaction with the United States in light of the upsurge of interest in Cuban culture in the U.S. in recent years. Guridy will also discuss the ways he uses his scholarship and teaching to help create a space to imagine a post-Cold War relationship between the two nations.
