Gender Symposium presents a talk

Dr. Gail Bederman, Associate Professor in the History Department at the University of Notre Dame will present a talk titled, "She Submitted to a Republican Marriage: The Wollstonecraft-Imlay Relationship as Feminist Experiment, 1793-96." Bederman is author of Manliness and Civilization: A Cultural History of Gender and Race in the United States, 1880-1917.
