History and Philosophy of Science series presents a talk by Dr. Alberto Martínez:

"Why did the Roman Inquisition kill Giordano Bruno?"

Dr. Martínez is an associate professor of History at UT-Austin. He is the author of several books including Science Secrets: The Truth about Darwiin's Finches, Einstein's Wife, and Other Myths (2011), and The Cult of Pythagoras (2012).

All talks will be on Fridays at 12:00 p.m. in WAG 316.
