"Phrenology versus Neuroanatomy in 19th-century Britain"

Angela Smith is a PhD candidate in the history department at UT-Austin. She is writing a dissertation on the origins of Robert Chambers' Vestiges of the Natural History of Creation (1844), an early theory of evolution.
