History of Science Colloquium Presents a Talk by Dr. Adam Lucas

The History of Science Colloquium welcomes Dr. Adam Lucas, a historian of medieval technology, who will present "Narratives of Technological Revolution in the Middle Ages." As Dr. Lucas examines whether there was in fact a "technological revolution" in the Middle Ages, he also addresses the broader question of how and why historians have talked so much about "revolutions" of various kinds.
