The University History Society (UHS) proudly presents the final lecture of the Student Speaker Series for the Fall 2008 Semester. Our talk, entitled "The Men of the IRA," will be given by Katherine Jordan.
Her lecture delves deeply into the origin, identity, and motivation of the recruits of the Irish Republican Army. The talk will further elucidate the many different and changing perceptions of the organization during both the Anglo-Irish War of 1919-1921 and the Irish Civil War of 1922-1924. Come join us for what is sure to be a riveting talk, and lively discussion afterwards!
