History of Science Colloquium presents a talk

Fri, March 6, 2009 • 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM • GAR 1.102

Friday, March 6th, the UT History of Science Colloquium will be pleased to welcome our own Professor Bruce Hunt, who will speak on "Engineering Equations: Maxwell, Measurement, and the Electromagnetic Field." His focus will be how James Clerk Maxwell's collaboration with telegraph engineers in the 1860s shaped his thinking about key issues in electromagnetic theory.

Please join us on Friday; we will provide lunch to all who RSVP to asmith5@austin.rr.com by Wednesday, March 4.
