This conference is the centerpiece of the institute's global borders theme for the program year 2008-2009. It will specifically relate to history and the future of environmental diplomacy.
The first panel session starts at 2:30 p.m., April 16, followed by the keynote address at 7:30 p.m. by John McNeill, professor of history at Georgetown University, one of the world's leading environmental historians.
