Biography

My dissertation is tentative entitled "Facing turbulent times: the Chilean Catholic Church and the Social Question, 1891-1935." It focuses on the Chilean catholic thought of the ecclesiastical hierarchy about the social and political changes regarding the working class between 1891 and 1935.

Latin America, social history, colonial legacies, Catholicism, inequality, Catholic Social Teaching, Secularization.
