Department of History Spring Graduation 2009

The History Department Chair, Dr. Alan Tully will be Master of Ceremonies. The convocation speaker will be Mr. Paul Bartholomew, actor and History graduate.

Mr. Bartholomew graduated from the University of Texas in 1994 with a Bachelor of Arts in History.

Date: Friday, May 22, 2009

Time: 6:00 p.m.

Convocation Location: Bass Concert Hall (PAC)

Graduating Seniors Info: Students must arrive in academic regalia at the west side Loading Dock entrance between 5:15 - 5:30 p.m.

Guests Info:Guests may enter the Concert Hall from the south entrance (on the North Side of Darrell K Royal Texas Memorial Stadium). The doors will open at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are not required.

Special Needs Guests Info: Those guests in wheelchairs or with significant mobility challenges should arrive at 5:20 p.m. and go to the southwest side of the Concert Hall so that they can be directed. Please note: if you or your guests need a signer (American Sign Language), we must be notified by noon on Friday, May 1st.

Pre-Ceremony Free Fun Event: Consider meeting your guests between 3 - 5:30 p.m. for refreshments at THE GREAT TEXAS EX-IT OPEN HOUSE at the Etter-Harbin Alumni Center west of Memorial Stadium. They will be open all afternoon and it is just a three-minute walk to the Concert Hall.
