Admiral Bobby R. Inman to be panelist at conference
History Alumnus to conduct panel at LBJ School of Public Affairs "Ethics in Government" conference

The conference will be from October 6-7 at the Thompson Conference Center. The LBJ School of Public Affairs at UT Austin is co-sponsoring this event with the Texas Ethics Commission. UT Law School Dean Bill Powers will speak about "Lessons from Enron" and Dr. Howard Prince, Director of the LBJ School's Center for Ethical Leadership will speak on "The Leader's Role in Creating an Ethical Culture." Admiral Bobby Inman, is the Interim Dean of the LBJ School of Public Affairs. Inman served in the U.S. Navy for 31 years. After his retirement from the Navy, he has been the Chairman of several technology companies including Microelectronics and Computer Technology Corporation (MCC) in Austin, Texas. In August 2001 he was appointed the Lyndon B. Johnson Centennial Chair in National Policy.
