Texas History Day Winners Prepare for National History Day

Competition To Be Held June 12-16

The event is affiliated with National History Day and is sponsored by the Texas State Historical Association in cooperation with The University of Texas at Austin. This year's theme, as always, paralleled the National History Day Contest theme: "Communication in History: The Key to Understanding."

Texas State Historical Association President Robert Wooster and UT Austin Associate Dean Neil Foley of the College of Liberal Arts and Associate Professor of History, greeted the participants and congratulated the winners at the awards ceremony.
