The Department of History's spring graduation of 2006 will take place in Bass Concert Hall at 6 p.m.

The History Department Chair, Dr. Alan Tully will be Master of Ceremony. The convocation speaker will be Dr. Ricardo Romo, President, UT San Antonio. Romo graduated from the University of Texas in 1967 with a Bachelor's degree in Education with his teaching field in History.

Graduating seniors must RSVP to the Department to attend our ceremony AND reserve guest tickets. Depending on the number of graduation seniors, we may need to limit tickets to 10 each, but we will do our best to accommodate all requests.

May 2 - 12, 2006
Students who have reserved guest tickets must pick them up in Garrison Hall 118 (or 101). Student ID required. Make arrangements to get tickets to guests before the ceremony. MA or Ph.D. graduates should contact Marilyn Lehman, Garrison Hall 103A to reserve tickets.

Any remaining tickets not picked up will be distributed on a first come first serve basis. We cannot guarantee guest tickets unless the graduating senior contacts us by April 28, 2006.
