Phonetics Laboratory

Welcome to the Phonetics Laboratory in the Linguistics Department at the University of Texas at Austin.

We are a growing and diverse group of faculty, postdocs, and students conducting empirical research in the areas of speech production, perception, and processing in a variety of languages. The lab maintains facilities for research and teaching. It provides us with the capability to make high quality audio recordings and to conduct listening experiments in a noise-free environment.
