Proceedings of the 4th Workshop on Discourse Structure
Austin, Texas :: March 3-5, 2006
the workshop
Here we present informal proceedings of the fourth international
workshop on discourse structure. At the March 2006 workshop at the
University of Texas at Austin, thirteen talks were given and much
lively discussion ensued. The main themes in the talks
were the organization of discourse and the contribution of particular
structures to discourse. Running throughout was a concern with the
analysis and representation of discourse.
Thanks go to The New York
Community Trust for making this and preceding workshops possible,
as well as to the College of
Liberal Arts and
the Department
of Linguistics for their support.
