North American Computational Linguistics Olympiad
First round of linguistics competition for high school students to be held February 2.

UT's Department of Linguistics is sponsoring the Austin site of the 2012 North American Computational Linguistics Olympiad (NACLO), a contest for U.S. and Canadian high school and middle school students in which contestants compete by solving compelling and creative puzzles in linguistics and computational linguistics. Winners of NACLO are eligible to compete in the International Linguistics Olympiad (IOL), one of 12 international high school science Olympiads.
