John Beavers Wins Teaching Honor
College Recognizes His "Consistent Level of Excellence"

The College of Liberal Arts has named Assistant Professor John Beavers to be a Raymond Dickson Centennial Endowed Teaching Fellow for the 2013-2014 academic year. In his letter to John, Dean Randy Diehl recognizes him for the consistent level of excellence that [he has] achieved in teaching students within the Department of Linguistics. This award includes a $3000 salary supplement for the academic year.
This academic year the University has also recognized John's many accomplishments in teaching, research, service, and advising by promoting him to the rank of associate professor with tenure, effective September 1, 2013.
