Debbie White Wins Teaching Prize
College of Liberal Arts Names Her a Raymond Dickson Centennial Endowed Teaching Fellow

The College of Liberal Arts has named Deborah E. White to be a Raymond Dickson Centennial Endowed Teaching Fellow for the 2014-2015 academic year. The Dickson award includes a $3000 salary supplement for next academic year.
Ms. White is a lecturer in the ASL language program of the Department of Linguistics. In his letter to Debbie, Dean Randy Diehl recognizes her for the consistent level of excellence that [she has] achieved in teaching students within the Department of Linguistics. In Debbie's case, consistency translates into extraordinary teaching evaluations in every class she teaches.
We in the Department of Linguistics, and in the ASL language program within Linguistics, aspire to excellence in our teaching. Debbie White is a model for each of us.
