Anna Luiza Ozorio de Almeida Field Research Grant
A graduate research endowment established in memory of Anna Luiza Ozorio de Almeida, by family members and scholars whose research focuses on Brazil.
Eligibility: Graduate students in any department whose field research deals with Brazil. Applicants should provide a brief statement of the research project they wish to carry out and should attach a short vita to the application. The application should be accompanied by two letters of recommendation.
Stipend: $500.00

Lozano Long Summer Field Research Grant
To be used only to cover travel costs to Latin America and in-country for brief periods of predissertation field research. The definition of Latin America excludes projects focused on Spanish- or Portuguese-speaking people within the United States and Canada.
Individual recipients may be graduate students at both the master's and doctoral levels. The Lozano Long Summer Field Research Grants are not to be used for dissertation research, but rather to provide graduate students with their first experience in developing an independent research project and conducting hands-on field research in Latin America.
Eligibility: Graduate student in any department
Stipend: Generally will cover round-trip and some in-country travel

Faculty-Sponsored Dissertation Field Research Grant
Eligibility: Graduate students in any department Applicant must be advanced to candidacy before funds can be disbursed. Funds will be available after September 1st.
Stipend: Up to $6,500
