Continuation of HEB 506. HEB 604 and 507 may not both be counted. Not open to native speakers of Hebrew. The course, which builds upon HEB 506, 507 and 312K, emphasizes composition, comprehension and conversation in Modern Hebrew. Oral discourse is maintained at maximal level, and small group/individual instruction sessions supplement the regular class routine. Audio-visual materials are frequently used. Students write short papers, present topics to the class and lead class discussions. Active participation in class discussions is a decisive element in students' participation grade.
Distribution of grades will be determined by individual instructors.
