Course Description
According to the Provisional Turkish Proficiency Guidelines Turstudents in TUR 507 should be "able to handle successfully a limited number of interactive, task-oriented and social situations. Can ask and answer question, initiate and respond to simple statements and maintain face-to-face conversation, although in a highly restricted manner and with much linguistic inaccuracy. Within these limitations, can perform such tasks as introducing self, ordering a meal, asking directions, and making purchases. Vocabulary is adequate to express only the most elementary needs.
Grading Policy
10% Speaking during the semester 20% Homework. 5% Vocabulary Quizz 25% Quizzes. 30% Written final exam. 10% Final oral Exam .
