Definition and periodization; old and modern anti-semitism; the Nazis' seizure of power and the crisis of emancipation; the development of Nazi policies from the boycott to extermination; the role of Germany's Sattelites and collaborators; Jewish responses - the Judenrats and the youth movements; the Allies' policies on rescue; the Holocaust's statistics; the liberation of the camps and the Surviving Remnant.
