Course Description
Continuation of PRS 512K. Intermediate Persian composition and reading. Not open to native speakers of Persian. PRS 512L is an intermediate Persian language course for students who have completed PRS 512 K or its equivalent. The course aims primarily to improve student proficiency in reading Persian and secondarily to improve Persian listening and speaking skills. Oral discourse is maintained at maximal level, and audio-visual and on line materials are frequently used. Students write short papers, present topics to the class and lead class discussions. Active participation in class discussions is a requirement
Grading Policy
Exams and quizes 60%; daily assignments, 20%; class participation, 20%.
