Course Description

The course will teach advanced Arabic through a range of original contemporary short stories from across the Arab World. Focus in this course will be on developing reading skills, strengthening oral fluency, and expanding writing skills through creative and expository pieces. This course will prepare students for professional work in Arabic as well as for graduate courses that require reading original contemporary Arabic sources.
