A Lecture by Akram Khater.
This lecture will be delivered in Arabic.
In light of the demographic bulge wherein close to 60% of the population in the Arab world is 25 years or younger, Arab youths have become a very critical demographic. This lecture will look at the realities facing this cohort in cultural, political and economic terms, and how these trends will determine in large part the future of the Middle East.
Dr. Akram Khater is Associate Professor of History and Director of the Middle East Studies Program at North Carolina State University.
