Islamic Studies Book Club: Islam and Scientific Inquiry

Faculty, staff, and students are invited to join the Islamic Studies Book club, sponsored by the Islamic Studies program, the Center for Middle Eastern Studies, and the Department of Religious Studies.

The Book Club is open to all interested members of the UT community and is free of charge. You do not have to have a background or coursework in Islamic studies or religious studies to participate in the Book Club.

Discussions will be led by faculty or graduate students in Islamic Studies.

The theme for this year is “Islam and Scientific Inquiry.”

Discussion will be led by Prof. Hina Azam (Middle Eastern Studies).
