Daryl Carr

Daryl Carr is currently a master's student in the Department of Middle Eastern Studies at the University of Texas at Austin. He is primarily interested in how conceptions of nationalism affect political participation in Turkey, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, and Israel.  He is also interested in the factors that affect minority and immigrant populations' mobilization and integration into political processes.  Daryl graduated from Roger Williams University in Bristol, Rhode Island with a B.A. in Political Science.  He subsequently travelled to Jordan to teach English as a Peace Corps volunteer.
