Persian Studies

Bachelor of Arts in Persian Studies

Students majoring in Persian Language and Literature are required to take 18 hours of courses beyond the first four semesters of Persian language (or the equivalent of these four semesters) and one year of Arabic. Persian Studies majors and students majoring in other areas but seeking to minor in Persian Studies may take courses in area studies related to Persian, such as Iranian History, Introduction to the Middle East, and Introduction to Islam.
