Degree Plan for Turkish Studies

Below are the degree requirements based on the most recent issue of the Undergraduate Catalog. Students should speak with the undergraduate adviser to determine catalog eligibility.

Foreign Language Requirement

Turkish majors must complete the College of Liberal Arts foreign language requirement in Turkish.

Turkish Major Requirements

24 hours of upper-division Turkish, including 18 in-residence:

1. Turkish 320K Third-Year Turkish I
2. Turkish 320L Third-Year Turkish II
3. 18 additional hours of upper-division Turkish

Turkish Minor Requirements

12 hours in one field of study, including 6 upper-division hours and 6 in-residence hours.
