- Roughly 4 midshipmen are sent to each

Leatherneck Platoon Field Exercise

- LN PLT conducts patrolling and land navigation training

Texas Relays fundraiser

- Volunteers from the BN assist with tasks at Texas Relays

Alumni leadership breakfast

- Midshipmen are invited to have breakfast with the alumni

NJROTC Roundup

- Midshipmen escort NJROTC students on tours of UT and procter a drill competition

Battalion BBQ

- Entire battalion and unit staff are invited to a BBQ on the LBJ lawn

Mess Night

- Seniors, juniors, and unit staff go out for an evening of dinner, skits and atics

Navy/Marine Corps Commissioning

- New Ensigns and 2nd Lieutenants are commissioned in the Senate Chamber in the Capitol building downtown

Joint Commissioning

- The same party is commissioned again with Air Force and Army ROTC's new commissionees on the UT campus
