Nurse Corps

Four-year NROTC scholarships are available to students interested inpursuing bachelor of science degrees in nursing (BSN).  If selected for the scholarship, the selectee must major and be accepted into a nursing degree program leading to a BSN.  On graduation, Nursing Option NROTC Scholarship midshipmen will be commissioned as Reserve Officers in the Navy Nurse Corps.

Nursing Option NROTC Scholarship eligibility and selection procedures (link opens new window) are the same as regular four-year NROTC Scholarship Program.  Academic, physical and military requirements differ slightly from regular NROTC.  The Nurse Scholarship Program is not recommended for those desiring to pursue any other medical program.
