History of Analytic Philosophy

Department members have written extensively on the history of analytic philosophy. Areas of special interest are Austrian philosophy (including Bolzano, Brentano, and Meinong), Frege, Moore, Russell, Carnap, Bergmann, and Wittgenstein. A graduate seminar, The Analytic Tradition, is offered frequently.
