Course Description
This class will investigate the central questions of epistemology, the theory of knowledge, by way of important texts both ancient and modern: what is the structure of knowledge, and how does it relate to belief? Can we know things without knowing that we know them? What is the relationship between knowledge and certainty? What sorts of things (if anything) can be known? Can skepticism be answered?
