Course Description
A comprehensive survey of employee selection and issues in training and performance evaluation. In addition, topics in organizational psychology such as leadership, work motivation, and job satisfaction are covered.
Grading Policy
Grading Policy : There will three examinations; each will be all essay questions. Half the questions come from the readings and half from the lectures. Grades will be determined by how well you do compared to the best performing students. At the end of the course, take the average of the two best scoring students; if you have at least 90% of that average you get an A, 80% earns a B, 70% a C, 60% a D.
Texts
Psychology of Work Behavior, 4th Edition, by Frank Landy--this will be available in Xeroxed form at the Coop. Also there will be some readings placed on reserve at the library and Blackboard.
