Course Description
This course will cover theoretical and methodological issues involved in trying to understand and measure personality. Starting from general principles of measurement, students will learn how to measure various personality constructs (e.g., goals, traits, life themes). The focus of the course will be on specific assessment procedures, including questionnaires, interviews, observational methods, situational tests, life history analysis, and more. Class will include demonstrations and exercises in techniques of personality assessment.
