Course Description
Understand, evaluate, conduct, and communicate scientific research. Basics of research methodology and statistics. First four weeks focus on methodology, remainder focuses on descriptive and inferential statistics. Although this is not a course on computers, the use of computers is essential in the analysis and presentation of the results of experiments. We will familiarize you with a number of software applications, including Eudora, Excel, Microsoft Word, PsychInfo, StatView, and SuperANOVA.
