Course Description
This class serves as an introduction to psychology and touches on a broad range of topics within the field. The class focuses on scientific research on human thought, behavior, and feelings. The class format will be a combination of mostly lecture and some discussion.
Grading Policy
Three non-cumulative exams consisting of multiple choice and short-answer questions, no cumulative final. Exams will consist of information from both the lectures and textbook readings. Grades will also be determined from writing and other class assignments.
Final grades are not curved and are based upon the following scale: 90-100=A; 80-89=B; 70-79=C; 60-69=D; below 60=F.
