Course Description
This class will be a broad overview of self-related theory and research, with an emphasis on recent developments in the field such as implicit self-esteem, self-esteem in close relationships, and the role of the self in adaptive functioning. To this end, we will read and critique a mix of contemporary and classic articles on the self.
