Course Description
This course is intended to give students exposure to a wide range of topics in the field of psychology. Lectures and class discussions will focus on learning, memory, intelligence, brain and behavior, personality, development, stress, and health, among other topics. Psychology is a science, and this class will emphasize critical evaluation of all material covered.
Grading Policy
In an effort to give students the opportunity to demonstrate their understanding of the material as well as possible, a range of assessment techniques will be used during this class.
Exams: 4 Daily participation: 30 opportunities Writing Assignments: 2 Each writing assignment will include a draft and your response to the provided feedback before the final draft is due. Presentation Extra Credit: 3 opportunities
