Course Description
Basic problems and principles of human experience and behavior. Students will explore the diverse interests of modern psychology by concentrating on the research findings and competing theories which guide scholarship and service in the field of psychology.
Grading Policy
The course grade will be based on three, 80-point, "hour" examinations, each covering about one-third of the course material and attendance, worth 24 points, for a possible course total of 264 points.
The optional final exam will be divided into three, 80-point sections similar to the original hour exams. For a student excused from an hour exam, the student's score on the corresponding section of the final will be assigned as a make-up grade. Students who have taken all hour exams may take only one of the final exam sections in an attempt to raise their grade.
