Course Description

The goal of this course is to provide you with broad foundational knowledge of the field of psychology. We will cover numerous areas of psychology, including clinical, cognitive, developmental, personality, and social psychology. We will touch upon areas of psychology utilizing physiological, biological, neurological, and genetics research.

I will present some of the history of the field, but focus primarily on modern psychological theory and research. My main objectives for this course are to provide you with a basic understanding of the different fields of psychology, major theories and findings, and how psychological research is conducted.

Grading Policy

Three exams = 75% (25% per exam) Two papers = 15% (7.5% per paper) Participation/Attendance = 10%
