Course Description
Scientific studies of production, comprehension of language; learning of these abilities. Strong biological orientation; detailed consideration of evolution of language, relation between language and brain function.
Grading Policy
Two 50 minute tests during the semester, and one 50 minute non-comprehensive final at the regularly scheduled time. Each exam will involve one essay, six paragraph questions, and some multiple choice questions. Exams consist of multiple choice and short answer questions, and at least one essay.
