PSY 304 • Intro to Child Psychology

The primary objective of this course is to provide an introduction to physical, cognitive, and social development in children from conception to adolescence. Theories and issues in child psychology will also be examined as part of this course. Research methods and current research in the field will be investigated. Special topics to be considered include: prenatal development, Piagetian theory, parenting, gender topice, and moral development.
Grades are based on objective exams, in-class activities, and a short reaction paper.
