PSY 333D • Intro to Developmental Psychology

This course samples from the vast array of topics in lifespan development. We begin with prenatal development and the controversial issue of stem cell research. We move into areas such as the reliability of eyewitness memory, the formation of a personal identity, the emotional socialization of boys, the long-term effects of divorce, and finally the question of physician-assisted suicide.
Grades are assigned based on 3 objective exams, 2 out-of-class exercises, and 4 in-class activities.
