Course Description
The goal of this course is to teach basic concepts in brain plasticity including theory and research on the relationships between brain changes and behavioral changes. The brain is an organ of adaptation throughout the lifespan of an animal, allowing animals (including humans) to learn and adapt to a constantly changing world. Course topics include current research in neural plasticity, learning and memory, experience-dependent brain development and neural plasticity during aging.
