Course Description
This course provides an introduction to child development, from conception through adolescence. Within each stage of development (i.e., infancy, early childhood, etc.), topics pertaining to personal growth, cognitive development, and social-emotional development will be reviewed. Theories and relevant research will also be discussed.
Grading Policy
Students will be evaluated according to their performance on the four exams, a research exercise, and their class participation/attendance. Exams count 24% each and class participation counts 4% toward the final grade.
