Biography

We investigate which brain mechanisms motivate alcohol drinking and the transition from healthy to unhealthy drinking behavior, with the goal of developing new treatment options for alcoholics.  I am currently working on a project that will test the ability of the brain’s immune system to regulate alcohol consumption.
