The Black Graduate Student Association (BGSA) is dedicated to improving the quality of graduate and professional student life at the University of Texas at Austin. The BGSA' s mission is to promote academic excellence, mentoring, professional guidance, and social support for scholarly advancement of undergraduate students, graduate students, and other members of the University of Texas community of African descent.
