Tucker-Drob study selected as "Editors' Choice" in Science

A study by Elliot Tucker-Drob, titled "Emergence of a Gene x Socioeconomic Status Interaction on Infant Mental Ability Between 10 Months and 2 Years", was selected as "Editors' Choice" in the January 28, 2010 issue of Science. Recently published in the journal Psychological Science, the study examined the effects of socioeconomic status on children's cognitive abililty and found that growing up poor can suppress a child's genetic potential to excel cognitively.
