Alison Preston Receives Faculty Early Career Development Award (CAREER)

Alison Preston, Assistant Professor of Psychology, has been selected for a Faculty Early Career Development Award from the National Science Foundation. The CAREER award is the National Science Foundation's most prestigious award in support of junior faculty who exemplify the role of teacher-scholars through the integration of excellent education with outstanding research. This award will provide five years of funding for Dr. Preston's research using brain imaging imaging techniques to understand how the brain makes predictions about the present and future based on memories of the past.
